Dear Sisters,
Congratulations on your achievement and welcome to the National Board (NB)! On Behalf of the National Board of Directors (NBDs) we want to thank you for stepping up to the leadership position in which you have been elected or appointed. We are grateful for your dedication to Lambda Theta Alpha and for your commitment to the progress and growth of our organization.
As a part of your membership to the National Board each of you are required to obtaining training specific to the roles and responsibilities of your position.
Due to the fact that you were unable to attend training sessions at the National Convention, the National Board of Directors has scheduled make up training sessions for you all. The sessions are as follows:

If you will be attending the make-up session and wish to share a room to save money, please send an email to as@lambdalady.org or afs@lambdalady.org to reach all AS and AFS officers who may be attending the make-up training. The training scheduled is from 9am - 5pm Saturday, July 17th. If officers fly in on the 16th they can depart on the 17th or depart on the 18th.
Reminders:
- Newly appointed and officers that were excused from attendance of the National Convention qualify for a travel stipend to go towards the financial cost of their trip. Bring your receipt of travel expenses along with your reimbursement form with you to the training. Contact finance@lambdalady.org for a travel authorization reimbursement form.
- It is important that the newly elected Area Executive Board members begin making attempts to meet with the current AEB for your respective area in order to begin transitioning and familiarizing yourselves with the area and its current status.
- Failure to complete full term in elected or appointed position will result in the enforcement of the financial policy regarding resignations of position-remove. (I.e. Reimbursement of convention registration and travel expenses incurred by the national or area accounts )
